Getting around Medellin

Medellin offers various transportation alternatives to its locals as well as visitors. Medellin is Colombia’s first city to have the metro train. Opened in 1995, it is cheap, clean and safe way to commute is a pride of paisas. The metro operates from 4.30 am to 11 pm from Monday to Saturday and from 5 am to 10 pm on Sunday and on holidays, with trains running every 5 to 10 minutes.
