Built in 1948 and renamed for the slain American president in December 1963, John F. Kennedy International Airport or JFK is an international airport located in the borough of Queens only 15 miles from midtown Manhattan in the United States. It is the 6th busiest airport handling more international traffic than any other airport in North America.
