Tobago is a small island of the two major islands that creates the Republic of Trinidad and Tabago. It is situated in the southern part of Caribbean, north-east of the island of Trinidad and south-east of Grenada. The island lies outside the hurricane belt. The city carries its name that has become the English word Tobacco. Cocrico is the national bird of Tobago.

Climate – Tobago’s southerly part keeps climate steady throughout the year. The rainy season starts from June to November and the dry season can be experienced from December to May. February and March sees flocks of travellers travel for Carnival. From mid-December and April to June, the city gets fewer crowds and cheaper hotels, but some rain possible.
Get in - Many airlines offer planes to either Tobago or Trinidad from the United Kingdom and business class flight tickets to Tobago can be booked easily. From Trinidad you can do a short drive to reach Tobago. It is also connected with the nearby surrounding islands.
Get around – The best way to explore the city is by public transportation covered all the parts of the city. Bus system of the city is impressive and stoppage can be found on every single minute of drive. Taxis are little expensive, but best way to explore the island. There are also small means of transportation to reach your destination.
