Climate - Sofia experience a humid climate. Winters are chilled and foggy. In winter time temperature goes -15 Degree Celsius or even below in January. Summers look warm and shinny. In summer, the city normally remains little cooler especially in night, as of its higher altitude. However, the city is autumns and springs are short with changeable and lively weather.
Get in – Sofia airport is one of the busiest airports in Bulgaria and was established in 1930. The airport is located only 10 km from the city centre, in the eastern part of the capital. Numerous flights fly in and out of the Sofia airport, alongside it you can get direct business class flights to Sofia from European cities. The airport witnesses a number of domestic and international flights.
Get around – Sofia has well developed and efficient public transportation system that consists of buses, trolleys, trams and subway. There is fixed time for public transport from 5AM to about 12 AM. Taxis are the only transport option in night. Walking in the streets of the city will give a good opportunity to discover the proximity; pedestrian crossings are numerous and are relatively followed by walkers and drivers.
