Natural Forest Park of Zhangjiaje of China is one of the most photographed places in the region. The rock pillars present here have been filmed into movies like Avatar. Now the Southern Sky Column has been renamed as Avatar Hallelujah Mountain. The rock pillars are results of several years of erosion. This major natural wonder of Asia has been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Marble Rocks, India
Situated on the outskirts of Jabalpur on the banks of river Narmada, the marble cliffs at Bhedaghat catches the attention of travellers with its marble cliffs that are as high as 100 feet. Apart from the Marble Rock there are a good number of rock formations that can be visited. Elephant’s Foot and Monkey’s Leap are prominent among them. Spread over 2 miles the gorge is one of the prominent natural wonders of Asia. The place where it drops creates a waterfall named Dhuandar Falls.
Gobi Desert, Mongolia
