The twin islands of St. Kitts and Nevis gives a perfect setting for vacationers amidst mountain rain forests, isolated beaches, heritage buildings and volcanoes which have not erupted for long. A large number of travellers fly to St. Kitts and Nevis which are also referred as sisters. St. Kitts, the bigger of these two, is more vibrant while Nevis is little sleepy. Brimstone Hill Fortress
One of the prized colonies St Kitts was highly important for British who made Brimstone Hill Fortress to defend it. The fort was made during late 17th centuries using slave labour. The fortress has now been converted in to a museum giving an insight into the life of soldiers resided here. The fort that dominated 18th-century battles has now been declared as UNESCO world heritage site. A visit to this fort should be the part of everyone’s itinerary.
St Kitts Scenic Railway
St kitts can be visited in different ways but nothing compete with a view of the island from the sugar train. This one of its kind railways takes you through the islands coastline. The train which was designed to carry sugarcane from plantations to factory is one of the major draw cards for the country. Your trip will be made further interesting when a group of cappella singers joins to sing calypsos.
Oualie Beach
