At first glance, Sao Paulo appears to be an exhibition of skyscrapers. This home to close to 20 million people is huge metropolis with a multi dimensional personality and this capital of state of Sao Paulo is still expanding at a great pace. This Brazilian city hardly needs any introduction and was recently in focus when it hosted several matches of FIFA World Cup Football 2014. Sao Paulo Museum of Art
Located on Paulista Avenue, Sao Paulo Museum of Art founded in 1947 attracts a large number of visitors through its art exhibits and stunning building. The museum has been a pioneer in art education and museology. The museum is also credited for being the first Brazilin Museum interested in post World War II artistic tendencies. The museum has a huge collection of Brazilian and European art.
Theatro Municipal
One of the most magnificent buildings in Sao Paulo, Theatro Municipal started hosting performances in 1903. But more than activities inside, the building is known for its impressive architecture which is a fine amalgamation of different architectural styles. The theatre keep hosting classical-music, opera and ballet performances round the year.
