Currency Exchange
If you see currency exchange stands around the town and thinks all are scams, then you are wrong. This is as similar as a currency exchange place you get in Kabul. There will be table right outside the Kabul Airport. You will see a group of traditionally dressed men, holding bunch of foreign cash generally dollars. Know the currency exchange rate before traveling to Kabul.
Transport system
Kabul has a good bus system, it consists of tour buses and over crowded vans. Taxis are the most convenient way to get around the city. You can travel the city conveniently. Hire an Afgani guide who can guide you in your tour and take you to the most explored places.
If you are going first time, be careful at the time of hiring a cab and you should know to bargain the rates. Some of these cabs are communal and pick up other passengers stopping by the side of the road. This will not affect your rate. If you don’t want to allow other passengers, make it clear the driver before hiring it. Apart from all you can also hire a private driver. There are some good services providers.
Do communication with the world, Kabul has a number of Internet cafes in all the corners of the city. These internet cafes are crowded with young people, so the chances are high to get noticed. Getting Internet cafes are easy in Kabul, so use Viber to make free calls using the app. If you search for non-internet based, here your phone comes in mind. You will need to buy a chip for your SIM card in few Afganis. Kabul is a big city of Afghanistan and all the major events take place here.
