Standing like an oasis in the vast deserts of United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi can be termed an attractive, green and orderly city where chaos is nonexistent. The city may not be as glamorous as Dubai but it is not feeling inferior. It may have drawn inspiration from its more cosmopolitan neighbour but is in no hurry to mindless copying it. The development projects are planned brilliantly and not hurriedly. The city’s face may change in a decade but its character will not change much. Here we turn spotlight on major attractions for travellers planning a holiday in Abu Dhabi Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque is one of the major draw cards in Abu Dhabi. This grand building can accommodate upto 40,000 worshippers at a time. The mosque strongly stands on 1000 pillars with 80 marbled domes adding to its grandness. The design of this building is inspired from Morocco, Turkey and Taj Mahal.
Yas Island
