British Airways to begin codeshare with TAM Airlines for Sao Paulo

British Airways and TAM Airlines will begin a codeshare agreement in October for flights to Sao Paulo and beyond.
This new agreement will enable British Airways customers to be able to book seats on TAM’s Heathrow to Sao Paulo service through BA channels, when the BA flight code is added to TAM’s daily flight.
Currently the airline operates daily between these destinations. With this agreement TAM customers will be able to book onward flights on BA’s domestic network from Heathrow to Aberdeen, Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester and Newcastle in a single booking.
With this codeshare members of loyalty program from both the airline will get benefited as they will be able to earn points and redeem tickets while flying with the partner airlines. The codeshare will provide lots of options to business and leisure destination flying on this route.
