Air Canada to operate seasonal Glasgow-Toronto service in 2016

Air Canada has announced to launch a new seasonal nonstop service from Glasgow to Toronto, starting in the summer of 2016.
The service that will start from June 14 next year will be operated till September 25 three times a week. The carrier already operates a seasonal summer flights from Edinburgh Airport.
Margaret Skinner, Air Canada’s director of European sales expressed his pleasure saying the new Glasgow service complements its existing Edinburgh service.
Air Canada rouge, a subsidiary of Air Canada will operate this service. The flight timing will be scheduled keeping in view Air Canada’s extensive network across the Americas.
Previously Canadian airline Air Transat announced to launch a new weekly Glasgow to Montréal service beginning in summer 2016.
Francois Bourienne, commercial director at Glasgow Airport, expressed his pleasure saying decision to launch a direct service between Glasgow and Toronto has is a great news for the airport and for Scotland.
