Travellers from Northern Ireland who wish to fly to Florida have more flying option now, as Thomas Cook Airlines has announced new summer flights from Belfast international airport.

The flights will depart on June 26, July 3 and September 4 using an Airbus A330 in two class configurations with 49 premium and 265 economy seats.

The flights will be in addition to the existing Belfast - Orlando departures on June 30 and July 7 and formerly announced services to Las Vegas and Cuba.

A top placed official from the Belfast International Airport said that this expansion of services to Florida will be well received by local holidaymakers who will enjoy more direct choices from their local airport.

The launch of new services will strengthen business and tourism ties between these destinations.
