Gone Girl to Open 52nd New York Film Festival

The 52nd New York Film Festival is all set to begin from September 26. This year NYFF will open with the world premiere of David Fincher's ‘Gone Girl’.
It is the second film by Fincher to open this reputed festival that runs from September 26 to October 12. Previously, Flincher’s ‘The Social Network’ opened the festival in 2010.
Gone Girl touches several aspects of American life that are untouched in films. The film is tough as well as funny and completely entertaining. Gone Girl is an adaptation of Author Gillian Flynn’s book of the same name.
The Film Society says that the film depicts a grand panoramic vision of Middle America and explores fault lines in a marriage. The film is a great work of art by great artists. Thousands of movie buffs from different parts of the world are expected to attend this 17-day long film festival. With direct flights between London Heathrow and New York British movie buffs can reach the city easily.
