192 Galleries to Participate in Frieze Art Fair New York

Come May and tourists with interest in art will flock to New York which is venue for Frieze Art Fair New York 2014. This third edition of the art fair which will be held during May 9-12, 2014 will be drawing 192 galleries from 28 countries. The organisers had made sure that local exhibitors should also get representation and new exhibitors also get an opportunity. Luhring Augustine, Jack Shainman, Paul Kasmin and Marian Goodman are prominent art galleries in New York which will participate this year.

This contemporary art fair was started in 2012. The event will be held at Randall’s Island Park, Manhattan in a bespoke temporary structure suffused with natural light.  This art fair is different from the other art fairs in a sense that it focus on contemporary art and living artists. Frieze New York and Frieze London are similar in approach but these are two separate fairs.

This art fair also features Frieze Talks that consist of daily program by keynote lectures, panel debates and discussions.

The fair will be attended by art lovers from around the world. Art buffs from London can fly direct to New York which is the venue of Frieze Art Fair 2014.
