Icelandair announces to launch Montreal service

Icelandair, the main carrier of Iceland has announced to launch a four-time weekly service to Montreal in May. The airline will operate this service using a B757-200 aircraft.
The carrier will operate this service on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays until November 2016.
As announced, flights FI805 will leave Reykjavik at 1705 to arrive in Montreal at 1840. The return flight FI804 will take off from Montreal at 2105 to arrive back in Reykjavik at 0600 the following day.
The service will connect to airlines all six destinations in the UK that include London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and the soon to be launched Aberdeen.
A top placed official from the airline said that Montreal fits well with the Icelandair route network and its addition will strengthen the airline. With this launch it will be able to serve tourists and business community between Montreal and major European cities.
With launch of this service, the airline will be adding fifth destination in Canada and 16th in North America. Flights to Edmonton and Vancouver were launched last year,
