Air Transat to launches Glasgow – Montréal service

Air Transat, a major leisure carrier in Canada will be launching a new service on Glasgow - Montréal route for summer 2016.
The airline will operate this new weekly service from May 30 to 2 October 2016 using an A310 aircraft. Flights from Glasgow will depart every Monday and return to Glasgow every Sunday. The launch of new service will offer travellers a convenient access to Quebec province of Canada.
Montréal, the largest city in Quebec province is a fine combination of old-world charm with contemporary North American energy that makes it a hot favourite among vacationers. The service also acts as a gateway to Quebec province.
A senior official from the Air Transat expressed pleasure on launch of this new route for Scottish passengers and hopes that this service will be very popular among travellers given historic ties between Scotland and Quebec.
Francois Bourienne, Commercial Director, Glasgow Airport also expressed his pleasure saying Montréal services a fantastic news for Glasgow Airport and for Scotland.
