Delta to operate JFK - Manchester daily

Delta Air Lines has announced to launch a daily service between New York JFK and Manchester on May 22. This one of the major American carriers will deploy a B757-200 aircraft on the route.
As scheduled flight DL234 will depart JFK at 2224 and arrive in Manchester at 1030, the following day. The return leg DL235 will depart Manchester at 1200 to arrive in New York at 1451.
The airline will start a daily Philadelphia to London Heathrow service, from the next month.
Delta and its transatlantic partner Virgin Atlantic will swap operations. Virgin will take over Delta's Manchester to Atlanta route while Delta will operate Virgin's London Heathrow to New York Newark services.
This weekend, Delta and its transatlantic partner Virgin Atlantic will transfer operations with Virgin taking over Delta's Manchester to Atlanta service and Delta flying on of Virgin's London Heathrow to New York Newark route.
From the summer of 2015, Delta flights from LHR to Boston, Los Angeles and New York will operate from Terminal 3 alongside all Virgin Atlantic services. While Delta services from Heathrow to Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis-St Paul, Philadelphia and Seattle will be operated from Terminal 4.
