Indianapolis 500- An event of speed, thrill and spirit

Block your dates for the greatest spectacle in racing where speed and skill rules the day. Get ready on 25th May for the annual celebration of super speedy cars at Indianapolis 500, if you are a huge car fan. Celebrated in Indiana USA, the event draws a massive crowd to the equally massive venue.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway has been home to Indianapolis 500 since it began in 1911. The race covers 500 miles, which amounts 200 laps on the 2.5 mile racing oval, and is the marquee race for the IndyCar Series which races faster and closer than any other form of motors sports. The Indianapolis 500 has a handful of traditions. After the parade and a vintage car lap, the driver introduction begins and then soon you’ll hear those magical words “Start”.

If you are a huge car fan then just fly to Indiana and take part in this mega racing event. The daily events begin nearly two weeks in advance and if you want to meet your favorite star then this could prove to be a great opportunity. Don’t forget to take your camera along with you.
