Get ready for the 31st annual Chicago Blues Festival in Grant Park at the Petrillo Band Shell from 13th June to 15th June 2015. It is the largest free blues festival in the world and remains the largest of Chicago’s Music Festivals. During three days on five stages, a visit of more than 50,000 people to prove that Chicago is the Blues Capital of the world. This year the festival theme celebrates “Blues by the Lake” over three days with four stages of music and three performance areas in downtown Grant Park.

Over three festival days, musicians perform at five stages throughout the day and wide variety of acts ensures that you’ll find plenty of bands to enjoy. The small stages scattered around the park and provide comfortable, intimate settings to enjoy music with one exception of Petrillo Music Shell, which is larget and where the headliners perform. One of the best ways to enjoy the festival and get an earful of just about everybody is to stroll around and catch different bands, rather than sitting in one place.
