WOW Air adds Dublin - BWI route

WOW Air, the budget carrier from Iceland, has launched new flight on Dublin – Baltimore/Washington route.

The year round route will be operated twice a week. The flights will be operated through its home base in Reykjavik with a layover of a little more than an hour.

Previously, the carrier started direct flight to Reykjavik from BWI in May and operating five flights a week.

WOW Air operates services to almost two dozen European cities from its base in Iceland.

Baltimore/Washington is second North American destination for the airline. Previously in March it launched service to Iceland from Boston.

The airline has said that it has plans to expand its North America operations and will add more flights to European destinations from BWI.

The flights are expected to be well received by business and leisure travellers from both the sides.
