Monarch Airlines to add two routes to Israel

Monarch Airlines, a UK based budget carrier, has announced to commence London - Tel Aviv flights from December 3rd. It will be Monarch’s first scheduled service to Israel. The airline has operated charter services to Israel in the past.
The airline will operate three-time weekly service to Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion airport on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays. The service will be operated round the year. It will also operate once a week service to Ovda airport on Thursdays during the winter months.
The airline has scheduled these services keeping in view the fact that transfer services won’t be available before September.
A top placed official from the airline said that Tel Aviv and Ovda are becoming popular among tourists and with the launch of flights to both these destinations the services are expects to be well received by business and leisure travellers.
