Qatar Airways to operate daily flights on Edinburgh – Doha route

Increasing travel option for passengers flying with Qatar Airways, the airline has announced to operate a daily, direct scheduled service on Doha - Edinburgh route from 1st May 2015. Previously the airline launched five-weekly service on the route.

The route will be operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner from its recently opened state-of-the-art hub, Hamad International Airport. The dreamliner to be deployed on this route has two class configurations, with 22 seats in Business Class and 232 seats in Economy Class.

A top official from the airline said that they are pleased to offer even further choice and flexibility to passengers wishing to travel to and from Edinburgh. And launch of daily service is a reflection of the popularity of this route.

Edinburgh is airline third destination in the UK, previously the airline launched flight to London in 1997 and Manchester in 2003.
