Qatar Airways has announced to add a second A380 service to Heathrow from next summer. The service will start from July 16.
Previously, the carrier planned a second service from December but the service was postponed, with Paris getting a second daily A380 service.
The airline continues to receive A380s; however, another aircraft will be delivered with its first A350. With this announcement the airline has also announced the schedule of flights.
Founded in 1993, the airline commenced operations on 20 January 1994. Currently the airline serves 145 destinations with a fleet of 148.
With Doha and London both being important business and leisure destinations , the second service is supposed to be well received by business and leisure passengers from the both destinations.
