Garuda plan daily flights to Jakarta from London

Garuda Indonesia is going to start its long-awaited Boeing 777-300ER London – Amsterdam – Jakarta Gatwick service to per day by the last of 2015. The currently launched service was begun in September 2014 for four times in week.
The carrier’s CEO Arif Wibowo stated that “we are soon going to extend this four times a week service into daily. We are seeing an improvement in the performance of this flight both in terms of load factors and price. London is an important destination for Indonesia. Our motive is to start non-stop flights from London to Jakarta. To start with it is only Amsterdam, London is a crucial market and it is in our long term strategy.
Indonesia is a gradually more important market in UK. Trade is growing and this new route will support business between the two countries. The launch of the London-Amsterdam – Jakarta route will give passengers from the UK an easy access to Indonesia.
