AlbaStar launches Birmingham - Palma De Mallorca route

AlbaStar, a Spanish airline has launched flights between Birmingham and Palma de Mallorca. The service will be operated twice a week.
The route will be operated on Wednesdays and Saturdays using a Boeing 737-400 aircraft containing 170 seats.
A senior official from the Birmingham expressed pleasure saying they are delighted to welcome AlbaStar which is twelfth new airline that has been added to Birmingham Airport in just over a year.
Palma de Mallorca is a renowned holiday destination for the passengers flying from Birmingham Airport and with the great on board service from the airline it will prove a popular route for Birmingham airport. Strategic locations and excellent rail link from its catchment area allow it serve a large number of people.
Recently Birmingham Airport reported great growth in passenger numbers. Some regional airline Flybe, Wizz Air and Turkish Airlines have also announced to add services from Birmingham.
