Passengers from West Midlands region flying to Rotterdam in South Holland would soon have more flying options as Flybe has announced to launch a new, multi-frequency year round service to Rotterdam from 5th September 2016.
The airline will operate this route twice daily during the weekdays and once a day on Saturdays and Sundays.
The new route will offer convenient connections to passengers travelling to Belfast, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow via the airline’s Birmingham hub.
Rotterdam The Hague Airport is located at equal distance from Rotterdam, and The Hague, the seat of government in the Netherlands.
Flights have been scheduled to provide business travellers convenient return besides attracting leisure travellers looking to explore great culture hubs, numerous museums and dynamic nightlife.
Paul Simmons, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer expressed his pleasure saying their brand new route to Rotterdam The Hague, starting next September, welcomes all their new passengers on board. He further said that diversity and added frequency to their Winter programme demonstrate their commitment to provide unrivalled regional connections and onward seamless connection through their codeshare partners to the rest of the world through their Birmingham hub.
William Pearson, Aviation Development Director, Birmingham Airport welcomed this development saying they are extremely pleased to see Flybe adding Rotterdam to its route network from Birmingham.
