Transavia announces Edinburgh - Paris service

Transavia, the budget wing of the Air France-KLM Group has announced to operate flights between Edinburgh and Paris from April next year.
The services will be operated four times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
A senior official from Edinburgh Airport appreciated airline’s effort for recognising the growing demand for connectivity from Edinburgh. He said that a service between Scottish capital and the heart of France will fulfil aspiration of business growth on both the sides.
A top official from Transavia said that the route between two leading European capitals with four frequencies every week is a major achievement for them. The flights are scheduled to meet demands of business and leisure travellers.
The news is welcomed by tourism industry veterans. With both destinations popular for business and leisure the flights are supposed to be well received by business as well as leisure travellers.
