Air France launches new Glasgow – Paris service

Air France, the flag carrier of France, is all set to expand its short-haul network with daily flights to Paris from Glasgow. It will be the airlines 3rd Scottish destination and 9th in the UK. The route would be the part of the airline’s new summer schedule for 2016.
Starting from the 27th of March 2016, the daily flight will connect Glasgow to Paris. The carrier will offer a number of connections to its worldwide network of over 130 destinations from Scotland that include Shanghai, Tokyo and New York City. The carrier will operate this flight using an Airbus A318 in two class configuration (business and economy) with a carrying capacity of up to 131 passengers.
The carrier took decision to introduce services from Glasgow Airport following a strong business case put forward by the airport. The case showed significant support for business and leisure sectors for the commencement of the route as well as a growing demand for connectivity owing to Glasgow’s diverse economy various sectors.
