Lufthansa to launch flights from Glasgow to Munich

Lufthansa, the flag carrier of Germany, has announced to launch flights from Glasgow Airport to Munich from summer 2015.
The carrier will launch once a week service from 16 May 2015. The services will be operated until 3 October. The flights will take two hours and 15 minutes to reach Munich from Glasgow airport.
The announcement to launch flights from Glasgow Airport to Munich is the latest in a long line of recent announcements which have included flights to destinations like Bordeaux, Marrakech, Cuba, Las Vegas and Halifax, Novia Scotia.
Previously Ryanair opened a base at Glasgow Airport in October, serving seven European destinations during winter 2014 and an additional two destinations from next summer.
An official from Glasgow Airport said that they are delighted to offer their customers another top European destination to fly to from next summer, offering them more choices.
