EasyJet announces flights to Manchester - Gibraltar route

Easyjet is a low cost British carrier has announced to launch Manchester Gibraltar service. The service will commence from July 3, 2016.
The flights will be operated twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays using a 180 seaterA320. The service will be operated round the year.
The airline expects that new route will attract around 30,000 visitors in its first year of operation. The budget carrier is already operating services to Bristol and London Gatwick from Gibraltar. A senior official from the airline responsible for Gibraltar operations expresses his pleasure on having launched this route.
He said that the airline is confident that this new service will prove popular among both business and leisure travellers.
The proposed flight will give strengthen business and tourism ties between theses destinations.
Gibraltar, a British overseas territory, is situated on the south coast of Spain and has various attractions including famous the rock of Gibraltar.
