Atlasjet subsidiary to launch London – Erbil flights

Zagrosjet, a subsidiary of Turkey-based carrier Atlasjet, has announced to launch flights from London to Erbil in Iraq, next month.

As per announcement, Northern Iraq-based carrier Zagrosjet will launch flights from London Luton Airport to Erbil from July 2014.

Founded in 2005, the airline headquartered in Erbil commenced operation in 2013 with services to Middle East and Turkey.

Previously, Atlasjet began flights from Luton to Istanbul last month. Apart from this, Atlasjet is also planning to launch a new airline in Ukraine named Atlasjet UA.

With the launch of the services leisure and business passengers travelling on this route would have increased flying options.

Erbil, the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan, is fast emerging as a hub of trade and commerce. The city is also popular among leisure tourists due to its landmarks and great hospitality and dining options.
