Germanwings launches Stansted - Dusseldorf route

London based travellers have more flying options to Dusseldorf, as Germanwings a low cost airline based in Cologne has launched flights between London Stansted and Dusseldorf.

The budget carrier is operating 12 flights a week between these destinations - twice on weekdays (morning and evening flights) and once on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).

A highly placed official from the airline expressed pleasure on launch of this route saying it was great to being able to launch this connection.

With a fine amalgamation of Rhineland charm, history, arts, and culture; Dusseldorf is a hot favourite among travellers from around the world. This connection would strengthen tourism and business relation between the UK and Germany.

Founded in 1997, Germanwings offers flights to 86 destinations with a fleet size of 74.
