Aurigny to launch London City – Guernsey flights

Aurigny, a Channel Islands carrier, is all set to launch a twice-daily London City to Guernsey service from September 8.

As scheduled, the first flight on this route will depart at 0915 and the last return from Guernsey is scheduled at 1700.

Guernsey being an international finance hub depends heavily on its links with London for business opportunities.

With addition of two flights each on weekday to and from London City, combined with its London Gatwick and London Stansted services, the airline offers attractive options for business travellers on each side.

A senior official from London City airport welcomed the announcement saying Aurigny’s presence at LCY will provide much-needed air connectivity between London and the Channel Islands.

The announcement will help increase coordination between business communities of London’s business and financial districts and Guernsey.
