Turkish Airlines to boost Birmingham services

Travellers using Birmingham airport for flying to Istanbul have some reasons to cheer as Turkish Airlines has announced to add two extra weekly services on this route next summer.
Starting from March 29, the airline will operate 12 flights a week between the two cities.
A highly placed official from the airline said that Birmingham is the UK's third largest airport outside London, handling more than 9.5 million passengers a year and serving 140 direct destinations worldwide. And the launch of new flights will provide more options to domestic and international flying from Birmingham.
Previously, the airline announced to increase its Istanbul to Manchester services from summer 2015.
Turkish Airline, the national flag carrier of Turkey founded in 1933 and operates flight to 259 destinations with a fleet size of 266.
The increase in frequency on Birmingham – Istanbul route would be of great help for leisure and business travellers.
