British Airways launches London City - Berlin

British Airways has launched new routes from London City Airport to Berlin. The new route will be operated three times a week. Previously in May, the carrier added thrice-daily route to Hamburg. Including its existing services to Dusseldorf and Frankfurt, the carrier offers 70 direct flights a week to Germany from London City airport.

Germany attracts a large number of travelers from around the world as it is one of the most exciting creative and cultural hubs in Europe.

As summer is the best season to visit Berlin, the flights are expected to be well received by business as well as leisure travelers as they have options to explore its streets, rivers and lakes and countless events happening across the city.

A top official from BA at London City welcomed the new route saying the route is very important for them and now they are able to offer passengers 32 destinations in the UK, Europe and the US.

Previously, the airline announced to launch direct flight from London Heathrow to Santiago and Chile from January 3 2016.
