Wizz Air to launch Aberdeen – Gdansk route

Wizz Air, one of the largest budget carriers in Central and Eastern Europe, has announced to launch a new scheduled service between Aberdeen and Gdansk in Poland. The route will commence operation on 19 June this year.
This announcement is being seen as the airlines’ move to reinforce its position as the largest operator in Gdansk. The flights between Aberdeen and Poland would be only direct service between these destinations.
Situated on the Baltic coast, Gdansk is home to several sights and historical attractions. The travellers from Aberdeen love to explore its cultural attractions and the oldest red brick churches in Europe. The city is also a key destination for the Aberdeen energy market.
With this launch, Aberdeen has become the 107th Airport in the Wizz network. The soon to commence flights will be of great help for business and leisure travellers flying on this route.
The airline will operate this route twice weekly on Monday and Friday using a 180 seat Airbus A320 aircraft.
