Ryanair, a lost cost carrier in Europe, has announced to launch new based in Copenhagen in March 2015. The carrier has also announced to launch flights to three European destinations. Services to ten more destinations will be announced shortly.

The airline will open its Copenhagen base in March 2015 which will enable the airline to launch more than a dozen flights. From next year, the airline would have flight to Copenhagen from London, Milan and Warsaw and ten additional locations.

The carrier hopes that its base in Copenhagen will deliver more than one million customers annually to an airport that has recorded steady passenger growth.

A top placed official from the airline has said that three routes from Copenhagen are expected to be well received by families and businesses.

Initially, the airline will offer 28 weekly flights from its Copenhagen base, which will be increased to more than 100. In addition, setting up new bases in Copenhagen would also create 1,000 local jobs.
