Blue Air launches Glasgow - Bucharest Service

Increasing the travel options from Glasgow to Romanian capital, Blue Air has launched flights on this route. The route will be operated every Thursday and Sunday.

Paul White, Business Development Manager at Glasgow Airport expressed his pleasure on launch of this route saying the new Bucharest route from Blue Air is sure to be well received by their business and leisure customers besides offering a key transport link to one of Eastern Europe’s central cities. The service will be of great help for ex-pats and those seeking a historical and cultured city break.

Tudor Constantinescu, Blue Air Chief Commercial Officer said that the new route is aimed primarily at holiday-makers due to immense tourism and business potential of both Romania and Scotland. The route will also be good for Romanian community in Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

The carrier currently operates 15 aircraft, and by the end of March 2016 it will have a total of 20 Boeing 737 aircraft to its fleet.
