Ryanair to fly direct from Dublin to Athens and Vigo

Ryanair, a major European low cost carrier, has announced to launch two direct from Dublin airport. From March 2016 the carrier will fly direct from Dublin to Athens and Vigo.
The new routes would be part of airlines expanded summer schedule. The carrier will operate three direct flights a week between Dublin and Athens. The carrier operates 85 routes from Dublin.
The announcement came following Aegean Airline's announcement to operate Dublin Airport to Athens route for summer 2016 which will be operated two times a week from June 20 to September 19.
Aegean, the largest Greek carrier, allows passengers to fly to 30 destinations on its route network.
Athens, the capital of Greece is well known for its impressive past which is affirmed by its several museums and historic sites. The city also commands great political, cultural and financial importance that draws business and leisure travellers to the city.
