VLM Airlines to Launch New Birmingham - Antwerp Service

Birmingham airport is all set to get a direct connection to Antwerp, the commercial and tourist hub of Belgium, as VLM Airlines, a European carrier, has announced to operate this route from October 05, 2015.
The airline will operate this service three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Steve Blair, Chief Operating Officer of VLM Airlines said that addition of Birmingham - Antwerp route to its network is an example that VLM listens to demands of business and leisure travellers. Due to great business and tourism potentials of these cities, the route is expected to be highly popular among business as well as leisure travellers.
William Pearson, Aviation Development Director of Birmingham Airport said that this route is expected to be popular among business travellers given the airport’s proximity to the city centre.
The Belgian carrier offers scheduled flights to seven destinations in five countries that include Hamburg, Geneva, Southampton, Waterford and London Luton.
