Turkish Airlines to launch three international routes from Ankara

Soon Ankara based passengers would have more flying options as the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has granted approval to Turkish Airlines (THY) to launch flights to London ,Amsterdam and Brussels. This move is seen as a part to promote international flights.
Previously permission was granted to BoraJet's Munich flights and Pegasus Airways' Baku and Amman flights. The DGCA granted permission to Turkish Airline to operate services to the UK, Netherlands and Belgian capitals from Ankara through its subsidiary AnadoluJet.
The services are expected to start within three months and will be operated thrice a week during summers and at least twice a week during the winters.
Earlier there were services to 11 destinations in 6 countries from Ankara. With launch of new services there would be services to 17 destinations in 11 counties.
