Air India to launch London - Ahmedabad flight

Soon the passengers flying on London - Ahmadabad route would have more flying options as India’s state run carrier Air India has announced to operate this route from August 15.The service would be part of carriers Ahmedabad-London-Newark network.
Air India has also planned to launch Delhi – Madrid service in December and expand its fleet size in next four years.
The carrier has already launched flights to San Francisco and Vienna and next it has plans to launch six more flights including Washington, Scandinavian countries and Africa.
A senior official from Air India said that the carrier will have 232 planes in next four years.
The launch of this service will enhance competition and will benefit passengers.The carrier has ordered 27 Dreamliners out of which 21 planes have been delivered and delivery of six planes is in the pipeline.
The launch of new service will increase flying options for leisure and business passengers visiting India.
