Biman Bangladesh, the flag carrier of Bangladesh, has announced to launch fourth flight on London – Dhaka route from on October 31.
Previously, the airline had announced to suspend flights to Frankfurt in Germany from November 1. The services on this route are suspended only seven months after the resumption after a hiatus of 10 years.
In 2014, the service on this route was stopped due to insufficient number of passengers.
The airline also has plans to launch two weekly flights to Tokyo by 2015, if it finds the route profitable in the upcoming market survey.
The flag carrier of Bangladesh has also started the process to start services to Kunming and Guanxu of China, Colombo, Sri Lanka and Male, the capital of the Maldives.
Started in 1972, Biman serves 22 destinations with a fleet of 10.
