Wizz Air launches Aberdeen - Gdansk route

Wizz Air has launched flights on Gdansk - Aberdeen route. The inaugural flight on this route took off on 19 June.
A top official from Aberdeen airport welcomed first fight and its passengers. On this occasion, the terminal was abuzz with activities like polish sweet treat giveaways and vodka tasting.
Previously in January, this one of the prominent budget carriers in Central and Eastern Europe, announced to launch new scheduled service between Aberdeen and the Polish city. This is first scheduled service to any polish city from Aberdeen.
With this launch visitors to the Baltic coast city will get a chance to see a city beautifully strewn with diverse sights and historical attractions that include some of the oldest red brick churches in Europe. In addition, Gdansk is also an important destination for the Aberdeen energy market.
An official from the airline has expressed pleasure on launch of this route. The services will be operated on Monday and Friday using a 180 seat Airbus A320 aircraft. The new route is expected to be well received by business and leisure passengers.
