Medview Airlines to start flying on London – Lagos route in November

Medview Airlines, a Lagos based carrier, has announced to start commercial flights on London – Lagos route from November. A top placed official from the airline made this announcement on Tuesday. He said that approval from British authorities to operate this route has already been taken.
Currently only British Airways and Virgin Nigeria are coming into Nigeria. He further said that Jedda and Dubai are other destinations while approval to fly to Lisbon has also been taken from the government of Portugal.
The airline will operate this route using recently acquired Boeing 767-300 aircraft to serve the London route. The route will be operated twice weekly.
The airline will offer 221 seats in total that 30 business class seats. Previously, federal government designated carrier to begin operations on 10new international routes. Approval for fly to London, Lisbon, Douala, Kinshasa, Abidjan, Bamako, Monrovia, Conakry and Freetown, from Lagos has been given to airline.
