Please wait, we are finding great fares for you
Flying with Air New Zealand is a uniquely Kiwi experience. You won’t find a friendlier, more welcoming or down-to-earth cabin crew—they love what they do and it shows. Approaching everything with genuine enthusiasm, it’s an airline that never stops looking for ways to bring you a better way to fly. In fact, it’s award-winning, which you’ll understand the moment you step onboard, like when you settle into the ergonomically-designed seat or stretch out on the innovative Skycouch™. When you deliberate over what to choose from the countless hours of on-demand entertainment. And when you taste the super-fresh food, or enjoy a top-up of the free-poured New Zealand wine. Wow, with all that, Air New Zealand truly are a better way to fly.
Air New Zealand likes to offer a fresh take on Economy. The ergonomic seat design offers a comfortable 31–33” seat pitch, 5” recline, an adjustable headrest and great legroom—all making for excellent snoozing capabilities. The Kiwi-inspired menu is packed with super-fresh ingredients, and every meal (yes, even breakfast) comes with top-notch New Zealand wines, poured straight from full-size bottles. Your personal 9” screen offers thousands of hours of on-demand entertainment, from the moment you take your seat until the moment you leave it. Take your pick from recent blockbusters, TV programmes, kids’ channels, exclusive audio, radio shows and audio books—and you can even order snacks and drinks right from the screen if you get peckish. Plus there’s a generous checked luggage allowance of 23kg. Gosh. That really is refreshing.
Would it surprise you to hear that Air New Zealand’s Premium Economy is award-winning? Not that anyone’s bragging, of course. But the roomy leather seat offers up to 43” seat pitch and 9” recline, providing an ultra-comfortable space to stretch out. The inflight menu is curated by celebrity chefs, and is bursting with fresh, innovative Kiwi flavours—which taste even better accompanied by a selection of premium free-poured New Zealand wines. The pouring, incidentally, is expertly done by a dedicated Premium Economy cabin crew, so you get their undivided attention. And if you don’t do travelling light, you’ll love the extra luggage allowance (twice as much as Economy, in case you’re wondering). Oh, and you get premium airport check-in, premium boarding, premium headphones, and a premium amenity kit too. Maybe it’s not so surprising after all.
Air New Zealand’s Business Premier™ really is the business. The luxurious leather armchair converts into one of the longest beds in the sky: 6’7.5” fully lie-flat, with memory foam mattress, cloud-like fluffy duvet, and two full-size pillows. The ottoman footrest doubles as a seat if you feel like company. Renowned chefs Peter Gordon and Michael Meredith designed the mouth-watering menu (freshly caught cod for dinner, anyone?), and top wine consultants selected the extensive range of free-poured New Zealand wines specifically to be savoured at 30,000ft. All this, plus premium check-in, courtesy airport lounge access, priority baggage (with bags of allowance), and complimentary chauffeur service to the airport or valet parking*. It’s business as usual with Air New Zealand.
*On C and D class; chauffeur service within 60 miles of London Heathrow, and for valet parking on stays of up to 30 days. Let’s not get silly about this.
Personal space is a treat when flying solo. It’s all down to Air New Zealand’s Economy Skycouch™, a row of three Economy seats that transforms into a flat couch area in which to curl up with a book or simply rest your eyes—so you get to enjoy all the bonuses of Economy from the comfort of your own sofa in the sky. The seats are the same as Economy, but each has a footrest that can be adjusted up or down separately, so you can put your feet up at a 45º angle or make a completely comfortable lounging space with all the footrests at 90º giving you 50% more room. It’s a playmat for the kids. A place to cuddle up with a movie. A snoozing station. Rest assured.
